I'm an Italian songwriter from Squinzano, a little village of Salento (Apulia), in the south of Italy. I live in Rome. I'm a blogger for Il Fatto Quotidiano. After self-producing my two albums Tipa Ideale and Piccoli frutti, now I have a new artistic project: 'Talking stones. Naive painted pebbles. Paintings with stones, cheerful and light like my music. They combine pebbles, malleable Lecce stone, driftwood, sea glass, sea potteries and earthenware smoothed by the river or the sea. All these materials together create wonderful shapes and colors on painted wooden backgrounds. Sometimes they are naive or dreamlike or more close to reality. An individual project that also results in four-handed creations, in a sharing of life and artistic dreams
together with Renato Rizzelli (a doctor, from Salento too),
who embraced my project developing a personal style.
I know colors are more beautiful live than in pictures. I wait for you!
Events in and around Rome or in Salento are numerous. If you are too far, no problem, I can make virtual, personal or collective galleries just for you!
